Hi all, and a happy growing season....

I am looking for the grape variety called Concord. I know it is quite rare in the UK but I know it is over here and is a good wine and eating variety.
I am looking for vine wood trimmings to see if I can get one going, or a vine if I could be so lucky.....

    specialist vine nursery

Concord - p.18 doesn't read as being a good choice for UK growing conditions (greenhouse only), Concord Seedless p.14 reads better but is believed not to be related.

Hi Finefencer, I have some grated vines in pots that I am trying to get rid of. If you are anywhere near the Southampton area you are welcome to them. This goes for any on this forum who would like wine grapes.

I use a mix of six scoops of compost three scoops of sand/grit and two scoops of perlite, the quantity is unimportant as long as the ratio is the same, if for seeds I use this mix, if I am potting on I add some blood, fish and bone, along with a small quantity of chicken manure pellets
