Sowing seeds of plants you don't want

Our allotment shop sells packets of donated seeds at 10p/pkt, so if I get any random seeds I don’t really want I pop them in the box for someone else to find ;-)

No you are definitely not alone. I have a small selection of Himalayan honeysuckle at the moment that self seeded round the garden last year and I didn't have the heart to compost straight away. Maybe I can take them to a coffee morning or something and someone will want one.

Not giving seeds or plants a chance is definitely a weakness I have

I'm a dimwit too - a sucker for sowing/scattering in odd corners any seeds or plants that come my way. I did chicken out of planting some tubers of a foul smelling ?lily last year but that's about it!

I never chuck perfectly good seeds. There is very rarely a pack of seeds I don't want to sow. But on those very few occasions, I give them away or swap them.
There is a few things I grow that I have no intention of keeping to maturity. They get sold (hopefully) on my little plant barrow at the end of the drive.

Given that I'm not bothered what comes up if anything, I'm expecting almost 100% germination. Anyway if I do end up with lots of little grass plants, I'll be palming them off on all and sundry, whether they want them or not.

Can't bring myself to throw out seeds. We sell donated packs in our lotty shop for 10p too, or sometimes give them away.

They're very "cagey" when you ask them about their reasons for transposing themselves across highways in my experience. :-)
