  • Shrivelled Penstemons

Well they grew from seed , doing fine , pricked them out and now they're slowly dying. The leaves look dry and scorched , Is it because they are in the GH or have they been overwatered . It's not damping off it's like they are shriveling up...... Answers please .....

Only you know the answer to that! Have you been watering from the bottom like a good girl?

They are more reliable from cuttings than seed ... but I've not tried from seed so I can't say Penstemon / RHS Gardening Advice

My penstemons from seed are doing ok on a warm windowsill. Should I plant them in the garden when frost free, or keep potting them on the summer and put them in my coldframe over winter. Im worried theyll be too small to survive the winter if they are in the ground. I know its early to be worrying about next winter but I lost all my big penstemons this winter.
