How can it be tweaked? It's still glufosinate-ammonium: "KIBOSH is a non-selective contact herbicide that can be used to control annual and perennial grass and broad-leaved weeds"

No idea, I'm not a biochemist, but the info from the company selling it claims roots are killed along with the top, so unless they want to flout the Trades Descriptions Act and suffer the consequences, it must be more effective than it used to be.http://norm-foodforthought.blogspot.com/

unfortunately I was a biochemist,the report says much about breakdown of the product and it's metabolites but very little about its efficacy on horsetail.it states tht there is limited systemic effect through the leaves but not the roots,this suggests that it is absorbed through the leaves and acts to an extent on the roots,but if you have removed the top growth it will not affect the plant at all.Not the magic bullet we were all hoping for to devastate the horsetail plague spreading uncontrollably across my plot I fear,but may be worth a go in the spring when the "rockets" start launchingdon't be afraid to innovate and try new things
