  • opps me too...

    Hi everyone !

I been so engrossed in the forums I am a bit late introducing myself sorry

I live in south Oxfordshire with my 2 kids, black lab, jack russel, cat, 2 guinnies, tortoises and various pond and tropical fish.

This is the third year on my allotment where I tend to do things a*** about face, much to the amusement of the old boys ! But I got them back when they tut tutted at me planting my runners at the end of march.......and was the first to harvest out of the 50 plots !

I have just started to make my own wine and about to rack my first gallon of apple fingers crossed its looking ok, I just need to avoid drinking it all this afternoon

    Bye for now

    Liza

Welcome to the grapevine. Good luck with this growing season. I have to say, as an 'old girl' I'd have tutted too! You were lucky with the season. One late frost and you'd have been the last to harvest!

Hi Lisa, welcome to the vine, I'm a bit unconventional when it comes to sowing, I started my runners off in march, though mine were in the house, I planted them out in may, they were strong 3' tall plants...they looked great.

It gets better, I have tied my shed to a tree so the pesky kids cant push it over.

Will let you know my next mad move.....
