Hi I also use a thermometer for my jams but find that on my electric hob I can never get the jam quite to the temp I need (the hob can only be set to a certain level and then it turns off automatically so I can never really maintain that 'rolling boil'). At the moment it doesn't seem to matter since I only do marmalade and blackberry jam but I just wondered if anyone else has this problem.

Been hoping for free p&p, missed out a few weeks ago - we were in Cyprus, where we saw some 'Fernleaf' lavender. Looks really nice. So I thought I'd look for some plugs/plants when we got back.
