I would like to see Chris Beardshaw doing more on the program as like Jim McColl he is very knowledgeable and down to earthit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Yep, Burnie and Rary are both spot on.
But both Beechgrove and Gardener's World will be quite different this spring, because of the need for social distancing. It will be interesting to see how they navigate around this.
Hopefully Chris Beardshaw will have more time on his hands now that Chelsea has been cancelled.
I do like his show gardens though, they invariably avoid gimmickry while showing a deep knowledge and love of plants combined with an artist's eye for structure. His gold medals are well deserved. I expect he'll be back on the circuit next year.

Not Beechgrove, but I just caught up with Friday's episode of Gardener's World. Actually it was quite pleasant, I didn't find myself getting irritated even once. Probably because it was Adam Frost and Rachael de Thame, the two least irritating of the GW presenters. Worth a watch, if you're at a loose end.

Been hoping for free p&p, missed out a few weeks ago - we were in Cyprus, where we saw some 'Fernleaf' lavender. Looks really nice. So I thought I'd look for some plugs/plants when we got back. Seems that you start them from seed, only a few places do them. T&M had them for 99p though, but with...Lavender 'Oregano' - Kew Collection Seeds from Thompson & Morgan - experts in the garden since 1855Today, 10:17 AM
