  • patio fruit

Instead of tubs of flowers on my decking I was thinking of growing fruit.Has anyone had experience of patio fruit such as apples, pears etc and the new bush raspberries?

I have patio pear, plum, cherry and mulberry. They are reasonably ornate when in leaf (haven't had any fruit yet) but once the leaves have dropped they will see the winter out in a sheltered spot somewhere on the garden.

I suppose they could be underplanted with bulbs but this would be best done at the same time they were potted up.

My friend has raspberry Ruby Beauty in a pot and she was happy with the amount of fruit she got from it this year.

There are some reviews on here https://www.crocus.co.uk/plants/_/ra...id.2000024735/
