  • tarnished copper jam pan

I've been given a fantastic copper pan for jam making...and needless to say - I'm absolutely thrilled!!!!!

Now then...it's sort of tarnished inside and out- how do I clean it up without using Brasso???????

Tomato ketchup - spread it on, let it work then rinse off

It's probably the vinegar in the tomato ketchup that works the miracle.
The traditional way is to clean with lemon, but I'm sure vinegar will do the same job.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

        Tomato ketchup Shirl??????

...hmm..that's a bit of a luxury item over here
..vinegar????...hmm..plenty of that ( although I can see that ketchup would stick nicely!!)

        Thanks!
