    I saw in the Independent yesterday a recipe to make Kir - basically blackcurrents, sugar, a litre of vodka and leave in the sun for 6 weeks. They also suggested doing it with raspberries.

    Has anyone tried this before? Would appreciate any tips.

    No, but it's the same basic method as my sloe gin (except sloes take longer).
    Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.
