The garden (the one attached to the house) is now one large hole ready for the swimming pool. All the perennials have been moved - either into pots - or onto the little side rockery and some down to the tail end of the plot by the river - the bit that doesnt actually belong to us - but leads to our piece of land so we have adopted it.
So now i need to clear even more space to plant things that i would have grown in the back garden previously such as cucumbers, cobra beans etc.
The terrace has been full of spring stuff- still quite pretty.
Today i got the second early potatoes in (Charlotte's)and OH hoed all the onions.
It was very warm - hardly any cloud - loads of people came down to lunch/walk by the lock.
