          Hiya Stevie

Im a pretty new grape around these parts too. Have had my own allotment for 1 1/2 growing seasons and this is my second full year on the plot. Im flying the flag for all those young allotment holders out there. I certaintly gave the stereotypes a run for their money when i got my lottie and possibly a few more grey hairs (if thats possible)

          Welcome

Thank you all for the warm welcome.
Well my allotment is prepared and ready and has been dug over and dug horse manure in ready over the last 4 months. My greenhouse is now staged and filled with small shoots of Onions, peppers, cabbages carrotts and peas, they are doing well and will be introduced slowly to the open air in the day. A
I am ready to plant my spuds in ground over the next week or two depending on the weather.
My spring cabbages weathered well over the bad weather, as did the rhubard.
A number of red currant bushes are shooting well as are my blackcurrants, and my sister Elaine (a member on here) bought me a blueberry bush so that will be tubbed and go on the allotment.
I have been saving the toilet roll cardboard holders and will use them to plant my runner beans into this year.
As the year goes on I have seeds for squash and pumpkins saved from last years yeild.
Oh and as my apple tree that I planted last year is doing so well I think I will be getting another.
The herbs garden is coming along too, so I will be on here looking into all advice helping me along.
