Im Nick 51 and have reading these theads for advice for a while now so thought i would jump on the bandwagon..ive been growing vegatables for about twenty years now,but ive started to develop a fruit garden this year...i brought a cherry tree(sunburst)three pear trees two plum,as well as soft fruit,currants,blueberry,cramberrys and gooseberrys..all brought spring this year, so im hoping i might have some king of harvest next year...im also half way though a practical horticulture level 1 certificute which is interesting...outside of horticiture im been a Northampton Town season ticket holder since 1977 and member of the Northamptonshie county cricket club since 1988..im warried with three daughters and play the guitar..mainly Beatles,Dylan and Simon and Garfunkel...we have a cat called Crumpet..:-)

Been hoping for free p&p, missed out a few weeks ago - we were in Cyprus, where we saw some 'Fernleaf' lavender. Looks really nice. So I thought I'd look for some plugs/plants when we got back. Seems that you start them from seed, only a few places do them.
