  • Greetings from Canada

    Hello all:

I'm Dale and I live on the east coast of Canada, on Campobello Island. I found this website while searching for something on the web and it looked so interesting I decided to join. I'm retired and love gardening so it looked like the place for me. I'm also new to the blog scene I started a blog a few months ago and have been making some entries to it lately. This link should take you there for a look.Dale's Blog
It's early spring here the trees are just starting to leave out and it will be another week or so before it is safe to transplant the less frost tolerant plants like tomatoes into the garden. I've been growing seedlings under lights since mid January and my onions, leeks and shallots have been in the garden for several weeks already. Carrots, letuce, beets and radish are planted and up and growing. This link will take you to a set of garden photos of this years garden started in January and I'm trying to keep it up to date:

In 2006 I made a photo record of my gardens because I put my property on the marked at that time and I wanted to be able to remember what it looked like. It took two photo albums, if you are interested I suggest that you select the slide show option.

    and

Garden 2006 Album II - a set on Flickr

I recently started a flickr group dedicated to Grow Bag Gardening, so far there are 12 members and around 100 photos contributed. If you do some gardening in Bags of any kind please feel free to join and share your photos with us.

Well that's me done and dusted.
