  • There's bargains out there!! Go get them!

Just had to tell someone what a grest day I had at the Garden Centre. Went to Wyevale just for a mooch and saw they had some stock they were getting rid of. I got some real bargains Hysop, mint oregano thyme all for 50p, but the best were 2 large pots of French tarrogan. Should have been £4.50 but got it for a £1!! fantastic - all in all i saved £16.

I'm sure there's a lot more Centre's out there doing the same thing - so get looking and happy hunting.

I'm hoping for the fruit tree sell off - Morello's at £5! Is that too much to hope for?

I wish mine did - when i went last week all they had was ornamental trees!

I've had a look on their web site and next weeks Specials are "Chocolates & Champagne" and "Ski gear". I'll keep a look out but i think i might have missed out this year

Sorry for the delay - wathinh MoTD!

Had all trees out individually and got a bit OCD about it. I kept on looking, hoping that I'd missed one - but as there was only 4 trees in total that was unlikley!!

That's how girls think! Don't count what you spent, count what you saved

as far as Morello Cherry trees, I was at Ken Muir nursery recently and got my Morello cherry tree there for a fiver! Evidentally it was so cheap because it was to big for their normal mailer boxes so couldnt ship it out. What a bargain- I was well pleased and ended up wth a 3-4 yr old Marron De Lyon sweet chestnut tree for a tenner too

Does anyone know if the Wyvale in colchester is doing any seed or plant sales currently? Well went to garden center today and they have a lot fo plants, herbs, strawberies on sale for a £1 each, some are even 50p each. But there were a lot of house plants for 50% off. No seed sales though Hope everyone else has good discount savings xx

I bought some lemon thyme for 10 pence from B&Q. Yes, 10p! I wasn't aware of the fact even B&Q discount products dramatically at the end of the season.

Bought some mint for 50 pence too-bargain!!!

Best ones to try are B&Q warehouses. They have loads of bargains.
