  • Warm socks.

3 weeks ago I purchased a couple of pairs of heat holder socks.

Since then I have obtained 8 more pairs, warmest most comfortable socks I have ever owned. Have a look on the bay for some good deals.

I'm intrigued that you bought the first pair but that you have obtained 8 more pairs. What you been up to Potty?

I got some aluminium lined double-layer hiking socks from Aldi/Lidl. They are warm, but the two layers tend to wriggle around which is annoying. My bestest socks have been Br1dgedale hiking ones.

I think I have some of those. Am going to put some on. My feet are freezing!

I know why I don't wear them! My crocs don't quite fit the same.

Hubby had some stoopidly expensive socks from Sn@p-0n, which were lovely (I used to pinch them, as they were so comfortable) but he has since switched to D!ck!€$ socks, which are cheaper, and I've been banned from 'borrowing' them.

Most of my socks are Bridgedale . . . I also have a couple of pairs of Italian hiking socks . . . they are pretty rubbish.

VC it might surprise you but I used to wear ladies tights quite often, in fact weekly.

Back in the 60s they were the warmest thing you could get to wear under a wet suit when caving. Twas fun watching the shop assistants face when a group of hairy blokes went in looking for the largest sized tight they had.

                    Potty only slightly red.

Nooooooo not fish nets they let the cold water through. Didn't mind seams but they were a bu99er to get straight.
