• Pressure Washers

Pressure Washers. I am considering the purchase of a pressure washers and have seen some that say they will work from mains or a water butt. The idea of the water butt appeals to me but before I waste money and find the washer is a load of rubbish and I get landed with something of limited use has any one got one?, used one? recommend a particular make, and any other considerations they may feel will influence my final decision please give me some feedback. Thanks to all.

Lez, you'll find that all domestic pressure washers are of limited use. If you have any serious power washing to do, you might actually be better hiring an industrial one. If it is only light washing you need to do, the karcher range work well. I have one. I've also used a Kew machine without any issues. If you propose using water direct from a water butt, best to fit an in-line filter as gunge quickly builds up in a a barrel and that could clog up or damage a machine

I borrowed a "Karcher" from my Brother in Law, very impressed. Especially with the hose nozzle which spun round inside the nozzle head giving a wider strip of blasted ground/concrete.

I have a smaller green "Challenge(r)?" Not such a brute as the Karcher, but still useful.

      Cheers, Tony.
