I went with an electric lawn mower for trimming/edging. Didn't work out for me. I got the smallest, lightest, simplest gasoline powered mower I could find. Much better for my situation.
I tried to go green but with a 30 pound battery, about 30 to 45 minutes of use before needing a recharge, and not needing a self propelled mower the electric mower was just not for me.
Those hover mowers look really interesting but at times I'm much too far from an electric outlet for that to work for me and the hover mowers are not in the stores in my area.
