  • As we're sharing our garden piccies....

Here's how mine's looking this year. I'm slowly geting it how I would like it but I have to say I'm a bit of a plant collecter so do end up buying things and just squeezing them in. Have had some interesting coments- like 'it's very busy' But that was from someone who has a square patch of grass and empty beds round the edges.
First pic-looking up length of garden from decking area.
No 2 Decking area, side view.
No 3 Looking back down the garden towards decking area
No 4 This years veg. patch
    No 5 Afternoon tea area!
    What do you think?

That looks fab, lettucegrow! I particularly like how lush it all looks and the way you have veggies blended in there. Wish mine was up to having its picture taken but I seem to get only one angle looking good at a time! Unlike yours!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Aaah thanks! Yes Binley it's a decorative grape vine- much like ourselves!!!. I cut it back this year for the first time and it's made loads of leaf but not a lot of fruit. The blackbirds will be dissapointed as they been frequent visitors to the grapes in the autumn.

Yes I do, usually in pots but there's a bit of a gap at the moment as the slugs are intent on geting them as soon as they come through But have got some more to start off- it's my mission each year not to have to buy bagged greens. Exhorbitant prices for tasteless floppy stuff!
The flowers in the 4th pic are a stripey marigold, name escapes me at the moment, was trying the mix it all Alice Fowler approach. Other beds have chard and kale squeezed in.

Yep, love doing the arty crafty stuff. There's a pebble mosaic in front of the decking, a spiral and one on the bbq my OH made. It's looking a bit worn out now as I used indoor tiles and they haven't lasted well over winter. Gives it a bit of character.
