Raining hard and cold. So bored of being inside. Brief trip to greenhouse. Back to allotment DVD. I'm up to July, it's warm and sunny then.

Had snow earlier when we went to Inverurie.

              Just wet now.

I jinxed it by building the cold frame, didn't I?

                Rain, sleet, snow then rain.
When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

I seem to remember we had Summer this time last year........

We also had that afternoon sunshine, grateful as been so gloomy for so long!
Snow here this year didn’t stick around more than a couple of days but still extremely cold, this week predicted night-time temps down to almost freezing. Quite bright and mild this morning though.
We do know what snow's all about as endured West Midland winters of 1942 and 63, fr’instance.
