  • Things to do in 2011

I'm sure there was a post somewhere that folks were listing things they intended to accomplish this year - not necessarily garden related.

Mods, move me there if you know where I'm talking about.

One of the things that I've been intending to do for a long time is learn all the words properly to every Pearl Jam song I own.

It might take me some time...

...although once you've learned a few you could take them on to the streets and earn some seed money busking

Can you not divert all that high-altitude brain power from memorised a vast array of Pearl Jam lyrics (some of which I suspect would not pass scrutiny on a family friendly forum - number 42 on your list, for example) to - say - devising a middle east peace treaty, or solving the problem of global warming?

That one's easy, just don't believe in it

Me, I'm determined to do at least one piece of art this year (drawing/painting). I say it every year

                          Ditto.

                          On both counts.

Shall we open a 'Vine Gallery?'

Wow as much as I like Pearl Jam I'm not sure how much time I could dedicate to learning all their songs!

This year I am going to loose weight, already dropped a dress size since Christmas still need to keep going though. Am working hard to regain a life outside of school and aim to have at least one day a week where I do no school work at all, have managed so far just need to keep that up.
Ditto re the doing art work/craft. Have bought some canvases and they are poised and ready to be started on so fingers crossed for that one.
Also to get out in the fresh air more either walking, gardening or reading outside, spent so many hours stuck in front of my lap top doing work last year sent me a bit gaga and not in a cool pop diva kind of way either!!
When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. ~Author Unknown
