  • Signs of Spring???

Ok- so we've had the 'how do I germinate Parnsips' thread.

We've had the 'I've got snowdrops and bulbs threads'.

    BUT

I've got builders in today and

THEY'VE TAKEN THEIR JUMPERS OFF AND ARE IN T-SHIRTS

Yup, builders in t-shirts. 2 of them. And the sun is out - and the water in my MOM watering can on the kitchen windowsill is warm to lukewarm and not freezing cold.

    Yippee diddly dee....spring is here.

Think that might be just to tease you zaazen and cos they are builders and it's not cool to be cold

we had 3 inches of snow AGAIN overnight, no sign of spring here, it's been put on hold til August

                  Struth Scarey - that's...Scarey.

I didn't think you had that much snow that far south.

It's even scarier than that garden ornament.

I've now got 10 tomato seedlings (or is it 11??) and I need to earth up my First Early spuds this weekend!! How's THAT for progress? Should add that these ones are on the dining room table in a large planter with a bag around to catch any draining water. Those recycling bags sure have their uses.

Oh and I did my first bit of weeding last weekend. The downside of Spring, for sure!!
