  • S'Evening's Sunset

Went up to The Spot - be last minute, but it turned into a beautiful day and a lovely evening. Our valley was clear most of the day but just over the Mendips, on the Levels proper, the mist had risen.

    We started out with this

    And ended up with this

Neither photograph has been altered in anyway.....that's exactly how it was. I have more sunset pics if'n anyone wants to see them.

If you want....sadly that view is 30 minutes away!

We've often talked about building up there, but even if we could afford the land (I've bought a lottery ticket!) I don't think you'd ever get planning permission. The BH thinks we should build a Hobbit style house into the side of the hill, so it couldn't be seen.....I'm Hobbit-sized but he's 6ft2 !!
