    It's not been promoted very much has it Wayne. I saw a little piece on GMTV this morning & our local allotments put a notice in the council newsletter that they are having an open day on Sunday so I'm hoping to go along to that. I haven't got an allotment & don't think I could manage one myself but I'd like to have a look anyway.

      Only reason I'd heard about it was because I was reading an article in our local rag last night about a girl who's allotment was threatened with closure last year, but has since been saved.

      Someone else mentioned about GMTV to me today, something about a competition they're running...

        I've read about it somewhere (magazine?), but there doesn't seem to be anything going on locally. Our allotments site definately isn't doing anything; "We already have a waiting list, so we don't need to tell people we're here"...!
