  • At last, some good news!

After a year that has lurched from one disaster to the next.... I finally have some good news, yay!

I got a phone call yesterday, from my local housing group which has a monthly raffle. I have won a Christmas Hamper. WayHay

I have also made contact with my best friend from secondary school, with whom I lost contact 18 years ago. WayHay

    Things are looking brighter today.

Maybe we're distant relations this WayHay and I...

                          IT CAME, YAY!!!!!
It is so much bigger and better than I expected. It has potatoes, swede, parsnips, onions, carrots, sprouts, cabbage, oranges, apples, plums, satsumas, bananas, cranberry sauce, cheese board chutney, pickled onions, Christmas pudding, shortbread, iced fruit cake, cheese selection, oatcakes and gammon all in a great big wicker basket.
There is so much of it, I needn't have gone shopping at all.
Honestly, all I expected was a cardboard box with a few bits and bobs in.... this is fantastic, the best gift ever.
