  • The kindness of "strangers"

Last few days have been a bit of a strain for a number of different reasons I won't bore you with now, but I started to feel a little "run down".

Anyway, LadyWayne sent me a text in the afternoon which included the news that my "Hayden" boots had arrived, and also that I/we'd received some cards from all my "online friends".

Well, I got home last night and LadyWayne was at the door to greet me which made me feel really warm inside, and then I walked into the dining room and there were some cards on the table along with a book of some sorts.

There was a fantastic handmade card from happybunny (a happybunny creation), one from sanjo and another from Fran.

    Then! There was this book.

Handmade and gorgeous - "signed" by sanjo, finedon (Tammy), happybunny and ailsasyl. The book was made up of cuttings of all the well wishes from all you guys! They had printed, cut and stuck all the comments from all my fellow grapes following the announcement of Hayden's arrival.

I did actually have tears in my eyes when I read it.

You lot are fantastic - can I give a special thanks for all involved in putting together the book/cards even if I haven't mentioned you by name know that I am truly grapeful!

    This place is amazing.

Aw...Grapes eh? There are some fantastically kind people here, and this illustrates it beautifully. Well done all those people who arranged and contributed, sounds like it arrived at just the right time. Hope you're doing ok, with whatever has been testing you just lately.

It's nice to know that we have put a smile on your face; you are usually the one to put a smile on our faces.

Thanks to everyone who put the scrapbook together too, it was a lovely thought.

Well done those ladies What a lovely thing to read and keep.

A certain lady ^_^ once did that for me when I was having a bad time; a big envelope arrived with pages printed out full of good wishes from the Grapes. Dunno if she knew just how much that meant to me, but I still have it and the lovely card that came with it.
