  • Had My stitches out

Had stitches out this morning and yay I didnt pass out, The nurse is a friend and near neighbour of ours so I felt at ease with her. Only a couple more days and I can get it wet.

Good to know you are on the mend, take care.x
When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. ~Author Unknown

Good girl - fainting is the wimp's option! Not long now till you can sow, prick out, plant, all the fun of the growing season!

I can type with two hands lol can get it wet so going to have a soak in the bath. Its not just the stitches that were a problem, its hard to explain but its tender across my wrist ( thumb to little finger ) stitches and bruising from wrist line to palm, fingers dont bend properly cant make a fist. But all will come good soon it takes time as I well know from having my right hand done in 1998. How on earth did I manage with a two year old daughter lol I cant remember.

I am sooooo sqemish (sp ) Thats why I faint lol

I don't know whether you can still get Thovaline (I think that is the spelling) but it did wonders for my Mum, who used to get splits on hands and feet (caused by stress, all my family tend to physical symptoms from stress, but the details vary enormously) It used to contain 'oil of wool' which in my understanding is lanolin by any other name. SOME people are allergic to lanolin, so it may be harder to find products containing it.
