  • Ebay Mollusc

Having finally sorted out my Ebay problems after moving countries (over 3 1/2 years ago) I am unleashed on the electronic market.
I have one thing that I am trying to change cos it does my nut. When my selected search appears, I want the items to appear as "items ending soonest" not "best match" which it currently does.
How do I change it please?

There is a sort by button - just click on...I think they call it...'Items ending soonest'.

    Well, there is on mine

It's on the right hand side about 2 inches from the top of the screen.

Yes it does that on mine, but I want it to appear thus as my default setting.
      Any ideas?

        Ok

On that page - go to the middle next to 'view' and click on 'customise view' and then to advanced. In there it gives you options.

In that bit it doesnt give me an option to have it as "soonest finished" as the default setting.
I hate computers and am far far too impatient to really be allowed to use one on my own.
            Thanks anyway Zazen.

Mine says 'time: ending soonest'. It's now the default setting.

                Mine doesnt
Although very very annoyingly in my "items watched" bit, they are stored as items ending soonest.
                How very very frustrating.

Not as annoying as our builder who has run off with £1600 of our cash and left a skip full and not paid for [another £110] - we only paid him as the brick company told us that he had paid for the bricks up front...I'm trying very hard not to swear on line so I'm going away for a while to cry - alot.

No, and my problem is clearly nothing.
I'm so sorry chick, thats an awful thing to happen to anyone.
I guess that he is traceable, and the small claims court will come into action.
I really hope you get it sorted soon, and dont cry, its horrible knowing you are and I cant do anything about it.
                    xx

                      Big bummer zazen!

@boble - are you in 'the new search experience' ebay - check top rhs of the page just above the orange 'find' bar. I opt out and you get the old style ebay...

@Zazen, that is still truly awful.

@SBP, You clearly are inspector Manda of the yard.
Thanks a lot, my frustration gets the better of me on such complex issues.

So can you now search for a 'hot date' which ends soon?

Oh my goodness. Poor you. You must feel wretched. You could try issuing a summons, depends on a few things. There are things you can do, but you probably do just need a bit of a cry right now. I feel rotten for you.

The ONLY thing keeping me going is that:

I know the bricks [handmade - for a conservation project so I can't just buy them off the shelf] are costed up and waiting
                              and
He was considerably cheaper for the job by more than he stole - so if I'd used someone else I would have still paid more.

I'm gonna give another builder a ring, one who hand-made my back door and see when he could do the wall and how much if we supply the bricks.

And I will issue a Letter Before Action once I have the skip receipt tomorrow, and take him through the courts...you can do it online now can't you - but I'm just factoring in the costs to see if it is worth it.

And Thanks again Bob for the PMs...and for helping me to swear without it being on here. You're a star.

                              xxx

I use a mix of six scoops of compost three scoops of sand/grit and two scoops of perlite, the quantity is unimportant as long as the ratio is the same, if for seeds I use this mix, if I am potting on I add some blood, fish and bone, along with a small quantity of chicken manure pellets
