    Companion Planting (Friendship Group)

    Just had an idea (I'm trying my hand at matchmaking) - are any Grapes looking for company in the same age group? Just a thought.......... Two lonely people and all that.....

    Here's the list of members so far (as at 21st Feb 2012) :

    I think there are lot of single people on the Vine (and in the rest of the world) who are lonely (me included). It seems to be getting more and more difficult to meet people in the real world, and online seems really scarey. At my age I would be looking more for companionship than a heartstopping romance but honestly it seems too much like hard work.

                    Here's me...
                    Snohare, 47, male, in an isolated village in North East Scotland.
                    Interests: too numerous to mention really. Science buff, compulsive (but dyslexic) bookworm, conservation volunteer, helps in a charity shop...have a beautiful golden labrador nicknamed Charisma Kate, beloved by all for her sweet personality.
                    Hoping to travel to Lincolnshire sometime this spring, if health wealth and weather allow it, would love to meet any Grapes just for a meet up...friendship is a thing I value highly and would be happy with.
                    P.S. I'll warn you now, I talk too much. But everyone enjoys telling me to shut up, it's not a problem.
                    There's no point reading history if you don't use the lessons it teaches.

                        Blimey, so many ladies of a certain age on this thread (I'm 60) and I can see pictures of ladies less than half that age below. Blimmin' t'interweb!!

                          Making new friends would be nice. I don't think age has to be an issue, some of my best friends over the years have been a good few years older or younger than me, isn't it only teens that want a/s/l as soon as they talk to you?
                          Not looking for 'the someone special' because I've got one (however irritating he sometimes gets) so really just nattering in this one!

                              I still have a foot in each camp - I love clubbing and seeing friends, but also like a quiet home life and my veggies.
