I am discovering, slowly, that the weekend is constructed around sport on the tee vee. I say sport, but darts? Per-lease ... there is no exercise involved in darts, how can it be a sport?

Holes in the ground - caves, mines, potholes. He even got a charity caving calendar - though perhaps luckily, it has two options for each month! Nice backside for January, lol!

The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

So, I just need to cultivate my own all-pervading hobbies, ignore OH, and all will be fine ?

Naively, i thought we would spend some of the weekend talking to each other.

My OH is doing up a Capri. For a couple of months, all he did was rub the bloody thing down and tinker with it. Jealous? Moi?

Good thing I've got the allotment so I can disappear periodically
