Did anyone watch Gavin Henson beaten at the final by the underdog Marcus Patrick. As Gavin said, "he can't be beaten by a soapstar from Hollyoaks, he'd never live it down". And Marcus said "it would be good to win, just to wipe the smug face of Henson".

Yep it was good to see Henson beaten, always talking about being a winner and not taking anyone else's feeling into consideration, gets a little boring. Or maybe it's just because I'm so British that I like to see the underdog win?

Himself and I watched this series, but only because we couldn't find anything else. We ended up really enjoying it and the final last night was brilliant. From the moment Gavin fluffed the rope crossing, himself and I were ecstatic that the unassuming young Marcus won. I'd never heard of him before this!

I agree in that I don't think the format was enough to catch the interest at the start, so I only watched if I happened to be in and needed a bit of distraction.

However as time went on and then last night when I saw it was going to be the final, I was interested enough to want to see Henson beaten. Mind you he does have a great body/chest, which we got to see last night, so that was a treat.

I don't watch Hollyoaks or know Marcus Patrick, in fact I only know his full name because he had to keep saying it before ducking back under the freezing water.

I accept that Henson is super competitive, but the fact that he wanted and voted his potential rival off "Joe" the previous week, makes Henson a poor sportsman. To my mind, if your a good sportsperson you want to take on the best, to show your the best.
