            I have been growing the Jescot-long-Un bean for many years, having purchased my first seeds from Ernie Cooper who lived in Bognor Regis.
            This is the longest one i have grown up to now.

                      just over 45 cm

                      Just over 45 cm (almost 18 inch in old money) and still growing.



                      Variety unknown as I save seed year after year. This is one of several I am growing for seed.

                        White Lady Runner bean



                        My apologies for the photos. I was so excited that my bean had grown 2" since I last measured it that I failed to get it all in camera. Its just over 15" but my hands were shaking with excitement and the focus is dire
