It's the central container in this pic I'm putting forward - the one with the apple tree and the garden gnome.

Black Bamboo. Two metres tall with, according to the label (inset), another five metres to go!

P.S. It was only half this height when we potted it a few months ago.

                        Hot Lemon chilli plant, GH

This is the Hot Lemon / Aji Lemon / Lemon Drop plant currently in my greenhouse.
                        It's now 4 years old.

                        Picture One:
Taken early June - plant has been re-potted about 6 weeks at this point.
About 75% of the plant's height in that picture is the existing wood i.e. from previous seasons. Warm early summer weather and feeding with Chilli Focus doing wonders.

                        Picture Two:
Taken end of August - plant put on masses of growth; top stems did briefly touch roof but now leaning over under weight of developing chillies. Feeding with Chempak no.4

                        Picture Three:
Taken mid September - unfortunately a lot of those top stems had at this point partially snapped, so I removed the chillies, cut back the broken stems and tidied up the plant a bit.
It is reflowering on new growth as of 26th Sept. With this Indian summer looking to last awhile longer, I should get another crop off it

I found this chrysanthemum while tidying up a border in late May. I dug it up by accident because it had been repeatedly razed to the ground by my snails. Nothing was showing except some vaguely green knobbles at ground level.

I dug it up and found a nice pot, watered it and gave it some TLC and here it is as of this morning. What a miraculous recovery!
