    My black beauties

    Black seeded broad bean.
Strictly speaking not a bean, not a very long pod compared to runner beans, and just three seeds would perhaps look a bit boring, so I thought I'd post the picture here.
    These were picked yesterday.

I have kept this variety going since 2001. The farmer I bought them from, L. Watschong, couldn't remember where he got them from originally. He sold them under the simple name of "Schwarzsamige" (black seeded), but I call them "my black beauties"
They haven't been available for many years now, so I think I can safely say they are pretty rare.
Some will go in the parcel for the Virtual Seed Parcel or the Seed Circle, if anyone's interested.

Any other items plural: I'm so pleased with my squashes, after a dismal start this year, I'm putting them all in (it's RustyLady's chilli though)

from left: Red Kuri, 3 sweet dumplings, Scotch Bonnet chilli, Turk's Turban
