Bonfire night disaster.

Well went down to the allotments on Tuesday to do the bonfire thing and fire works. The rain had finally stopped for awhile anyway. Tried to light said bonfire with hubby the usual way newspaper fire lighters,small bits of wood then petrol lol to no avail even tried a smaller bonfire slightly dryer then the first one . Wasn't happening. So we give up and did the fireworks instead well hubby and kids did. Not me I played around with the fire for a bit burning cardboard and anything else I could find that was dry and would burn. Lots of smoke later and with fire works all done and it starting to rain again we give it up as a bad job and toddled off home tail between legs beaten. Now gonna have to get trailer and do quite a few tip trips over the next few weeks so much for getting it all burnt. Lol
