    Would you like a doughnut?
Veggie, you are like Jobe's comforter, but you make me laugh out loud!

Still crocked! I'm gutted as I've signed on for a race at the end of March which I won't be able to do. Been to the walk in centre today as I am still walking with a limp and my knee is only marginally better.

After examination the Doc didn't think I would need an operation and that time would heal eventually. Possibly crocked for two months! Sick of the sight of Ibruproven.

I shall return though ion the spring, rejuvenated i hope!

Can see now what VC sees in this armchair running! Crocked for this evenings run with a gammy knee. Been to the doc about a gammy finger and got Pennicillin type stuff. Side effects are nausea and diarrhea so that's summat to look forward to!

Sounds like the only running I will be doing is to the toilet!

Hopefully I'll heal a bit allowing me to have a proper run on Sunday!

I'm taking Hazel's advice and resting for a week or so. Don't want to overdo it

I swim like a brick Hazel!

Might pump the tyres up on my mountain bike and give that a go mid week.

In the mean time, had a bath and my knee is smothered with Voltarol Emulgel (God that stuff stinks!)

Really dammed annoying this auld age thing!

Managed my quickest time yet though methinks, 68 minutes for 10K. It was during one of my interval sprints that my knee really started knacking so hopefully it will loosen up a bit before next wednesday?
Its getting too close to my Hamsterley forest 10k to back off on the training but I may have to for the week before, then run it cold!

They aren't really benches these days VC, more like mini armchairs with radio links to the troops! You'd look well in Black and white!

Bit like me, I've got the perfect face for radio presenting!

Got to the last 20m and thought someone had chopped my legs off - I had NOTHING.

I think that your training is going really well - your training buddy is clearly helping you!

It's the Fradley 10k a week on Sunday, so my last long training run tomorrow. Got my race number in the post today. ::
Good luck Hazel, save a bit for the run in tho.

I couldn't have managed it without VC. I might even nominate her for the Newcastle United Coach, or should that be Couch? job!
