Cheers Lez, the money saving isn't that big a deal for me as it only cost me about �5 a week but I suppose it may pay for a new greenhouse..........hmmmmmmm, christmas is coming...

well done bigmally and keep it going. not easy I know as I gave up after 40 years 20 months ago. It is still hard as sometimes I think a smoke will help especially at work when some burk upsets you. I smelt the smokers though and they do stink awful. I have saved a fortune on the good side enough to invest recently in a couple of expensive puppies that are keeping on the move. good luck and stick with it.

Hi BM, you're doing great. I gave up several years ago and went cold turkey. It doesnt really matter how you do it so long as it works for you.
What kept me going through the first few weeks was the thought of having just one and then having to go through the same thing all over again.
It worked for me.
Anyway, when tomorrow cones you'll be able to say, "I gave up ciggies in October"
