My youngest son is 22 and has been out of work for a year, he applies for jobs but most of the time doesnt even get an answer let alone an interview, his confidence has been knoked sideways and now he doesnt try very hard, he didnt sign on till late summer so will not be on the radar for the under 25 yrs of age retraining or whatever its called for those who have been unemployed for a year.
