just had my eldest dog to vets he has bad cough and his back legs have just stopped working he cant jump and wimpers all time even when led down
but when we got him to vets he livened up lol
but they say he has got atheritis in back legs he nearly 20yrs old so not bad goin
then as we was leaving well just as they gave me the bill he pooed on the floor
lol he must have thought he would make them earn their money lol
although it wasnt that bad a lot less than i thought would be
i thought he was on his way out
he my best mate dont wanna loose just yet
i have two others but me been with me longest we done everything together

Yep I know how you feel. My dog is 13 and half but getting really slow and has accidents now and then. He's also nearly blind but still manages to negotiate his way round. Some days I think .....this is it and then he suddenly perks up again and starts charging round.

Thats nasty Thing is when my dog does that, he turns round and looks really suprised and then looks at one of us!!!!!!!

I recently accidently left our Cairn terrier out in the garden all night. At least it wasn't cold or raining!

Our dog is the same she would just sit there, i think when we have done that before she feels she's done something wrong and doesn't want to add to it by barking at us!!

i haven't got a cat flap, they go out the utility room window if it's open .... and the dog can't get up that high lol ..... the cat's don't really care if it's raining asbo gets soaked and cleo won't go out in the first place

The catflap was replaced with a medium sized dogflap so I don't have to be door monitor, except to the cat who refuses to associate with riffraff dogs. If I don't acknowledge her at the window atop of the flat roof she wanders round to sit on the living room window sill (sheltered by roof overhang) until I open the front door to her.

That is one problem we don't have. Our dogs have to be watched, because the garden isn't secure (and no realistic way to make it secure).

mine hasn't even got a fence round most of it, but she doesn't go far theres some waste ground at the bottom that she goes for a wander round, if i'm in the garden, ..... though in summer she does go visiting the neighbours occasionally.

She'll survive, with cuddles & treats At least you weren't off doing a round trip to Skipton
Pads has learned to do a proper bark now instead of a pathetic woof, coz OH never remembers to let her back in...!

yeah thet's actually a good point lol, i really must try harder to remember she's out lol, .... she only barkes when theres a strange knock at the door or when she's telling me to throw her ball lol

My cat never meows to come in, either. He just sits on the table outside and you suddenly catch a glimpse of a soggy moggy on the way to the kitchen. He's got enough fluff - he can take it!

the cats don't meow, but they sit on the windowsill cos they come in the window, though if i'm not in the living room they come to the kitchen window

she had a good towel rub and sat smelling in front of the fire for a bit ..... then decided she was tired so went and got in bed ... with her smelly head on my freshly washed pillow case, and under my freshly washed duvet cover .... think they need washing again
