My Birthday has only ever coincided with Shrove Tuesday once before (2003, I checked!) and I adore pancakes, so it should be more often!

Me too but it does get confusing. For us it's breakfast, dinner, 4pm tea with cake/scone/bikkies then we eat our tea at 7ish which is the main meal of the day.

Today we had veg stir fry and rice.

Dog and I have brekker, then the next meal is supper! But then we are a bit weird.

She has Chappie and I have whatever - last night it was risotto!

oh and tonight we're having liver and onions - I did ask the dogs permission as I had originally bought it for them!

                  Home made curry last night.
                  Bunny stew tonight.

oh- we have breakfast, lunch then supper.
In my mind 'tea' is eaten about 5-6pm....we eat between 7 and 9pm
And yes...at school we had 'school dinners'

                  ...confusing ain't it???

Nah, supper is definitely either tea for posh people (supper daaaarling........) or leftovers eaten just before bed.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

We had chicken, leek and mushroom pie with champ, peas and carrots. A new recipe that i'll definately use again, the pies were lovely.

I always thought that dinner was the main meal of the day - whenever you choose to eat it.

So it's in the evenings Monday - Saturday but at 'lunchtime' on Sundays
