  • Dehydrator Tips

When I get some spare time I want to use my dehydrator for the first time (it's still in it's box) to make some sun-blush tomatoes, not sundried tomatoes.
Does anyone have any tips, tricks or advice for achieving this?
I will also have plums, greengages, apples and pears (if the pesky squirrel doesn't strip the tree before I get to them!) and again would love any tips from those of you who already do this

Peanut my dehydrators one of those 5 tray round ones, my tips are.

To rotate the trays it helps with the drying process.
Don’t have items touching that seems to stop the air circulating.
Cut things to the same thickness, I use a peeler, slicer corer one of those that you wind the handle.

edited to say I’ve found an older thread hope this helps
