Plums n'grappa

My FIL bought a bottle of Grappa for the bottle. Transferred the liquid into another bottle and gave it to me. I was thinking about turning it into Slivowitz but wondered if anyone knows quantities of plums and sugar..... Anything to make it taste nicer
