Depends on your area, I dont plan on putting mine out for a good while especially with this return of a cold snap, then I will move them to a cold frame and gradually harden them off. -
I wouldn't, mine are in the plastic greenhouse and doing well, and I wouldn't want to risk it just yet.My mind works like lightning, One brilliant flash and it is gone!

I was wondering whether to put mine out yet. I bought them from B&Q about 3 weeks ago and put them in the GH. They have been growing very well and are starting to bend over as they are around 10" high. We are in S.Yorkshire so probably too early to put them out but what do i do with them in the meantime?

Normally you would do this when the seedlings are about 2-3 inches high but I'm sure it would be okay to do this now. Just pinch out the growing tip, the top few leaves, otherwise you will probably just get a single stem of flowers. Mine went in the ground yesterday - about 5 inches high and very healthy (sweet peas are hardy)
March/April is the time to plant out. Be guided by local weather conditions though. If the ground is cold and/or very wet it is best to wait. The plants will soon catch up.

Once again guys some great advice here, it has been very warm here over the last couple weeks but the locals up here tell me we can get frosts right up until early may.
Would a frost kill them in one night?
Could I plant them in my raised beds now and then cover them up I a frost is forecast?

Planted my sweetpeas today at my lottie I have loads and put spencer mix on one side of the gate like I did last year and they were great. I am going to block colour the rest.Gardening ..... begins with daybreak
