I was wondering to myself why I didn't recognise this flower, as it clearly has a UK wide distribution. Looking up my old-tech Readers Digest wildflower book, I see it is only 2-4 inches high, so pretty but tiny. I do recognise it, but never knew the name, so thanks for this. It's related to a cultivated plant you often see offered in nurseries https://www.burncoose.co.uk/site/plants.cfm?pl_id=3367Mostly flowers, some fruit and veg, at the seaside in Edinburgh.Comment
