  • Another weed id

I've a couple of things in my garden at the moment that are possibly weeds but are pretty. I will often just let them get on with it but I haven't seen this one here before. Click image for larger version

I have another one - I'll be back with a photo - it spreads everywhere here.
Has a geranium type leaf with a tiny cerise pink flower on tall stems. Self sows in my path, between all my plants. It is pretty but it's slowly taking over.

I know the plant you mean - but not what it is! I spotted one last week - but pulled it out as it wasn't very interesting!

I have herb robert I was going to shove in the meadow patch. It is similar to wild geranium and both are apparently called (unhelpfully) cranesbill. I also seem to have gained jack by the hedge this year that is destined for the meadow patch as well.

Perhaps because it's so rare these days.

^^^It was only recently that I knew what it looked like in flower. For years I just knew it at seed disk stage.
