Default Newspaper - Cardboard - Colours - Composting??

    Morning Folks

Apologies if this has been done to death already but a couple of questions please.

So most newspapers now come with some percentage of coloured pages, are these safe to compost?

From what I read the jury still seems to be out re coloured cardboard, should I avoid all coloured cardboard? If people think yes I assume this also includes cardboard used to line beds?

    I appreciate views are subjective

I shred and compost the lot...

Not many cardboard boxes without some form of printing on them. Anything obviously plastic coated is sent to recycling.

In the "old days" all paper was shiny.
