The row of chitted Parsnips I planted about ten days ago are up! Bless their little hearts.
Put some more to chit on damp paper on a tin foil plate inside a plastic bag.
Also found the remains of last years packet of Supersweet Sweetcorn. Seed doesn't look viable - I think it may have got damp at some point, but I've put that to chit as well. I'll be buying some more anyway, so if any of the old ones come good it'll be a bonus.
Sowed some parsley in the green house.
Squashes non the worse for being left in there last night. Looking quite perky.
Terrifically windy and squally weather. Took Beau for a walk up the lane and got caught out -TWICE!!
Would have liked to have gone up the Field to dig another bed, but the ground is saturated.
Cannot get up to Muck Buddy eigther as the flipping roadworks are in the way.
