put some ad's up on noticeboards. sometimes older peolpe have gardens which they can no longer manage, and will let you have a piece of thiers, or the whole plot, in return for you supplying them with veg. or someone might rent you a piece of unused garden or paddock. farm shops, country stores, garden shops, vets, and local newsagents would be good places to advertise, and it wouldnt hurt find out who owns that land behind the police station, and see if you could rent that while it is not in use- it couldnt do any harm to ask.

Hello Miss Farmer Gyles

I come across this post and wondered if you are still after an allotment? bassically I have a rather large garden and never get round to actually growing anything my self so thought would could possible rent some of it out or even in exchange for some gardening work? If your interested please let me know

the garden also backs onto the canal so fishing or having a go in the rowboat may also be an option

kibworth any good? I rent a field for my ponies and would happily offer a corner for an allotment free. Horse poo readily available!
