    Looking for Allotment in/around Loughborough

    Hello
    I have just moved to loughborough and desperate for an allotment

    Does anyone know, other than the council sites, where i can find an allotment as i have been told there is a 3 year waiting list in Loughborough and I will go mad waiting that long. Are there any private ones in are around Loughborough area

    Please can someone help with any information.

      ^ make yourself a list of sites off that info, Karen.


      Then physically go and visit them (weekend mornings there's usually someone around). Lotty folk, ime, are not very good at email or phoning, so it really pays dividends to get up there and talk to a real live person.

        Weekends is the best time to visit, but replying to emails, they are quick and efficient. Email them and arrange to meet someone. That's how i got my plot.
