    Hello, welcome to the vine!

I've just had a look at Essex Council's website.. bit poor in terms of search results, so I'd suggest you give them a bell to see if they offer any council ran sites.

There's a few folk from Essex and surrounding areas on here, so they may be able to help further.

Thanks a lot Chris. I too have found it a struggle on council websites. Hopefully I can find something by next spring. So eager to get started!

Look on Google Maps for your nearest one [often you don't know there are there as they are behind hedges etc]. Then go down on a Sunday morning and see who is about and start getting contact phone numbers for people who keep the lists etc. And Offer to deal with the most overgrown ones.

              Hello,

Ive just taken on a half plot in essex area, hoping to also take on the other half plot next to it aswell as i know half plot wont be enough.

I do believe this site has 4-8 half plots coming up for grabs soon, i think there around 15-20 people still on list maybe here but the guy who runs it here said hes been phoning people and getting no response or not no longer interested. So the list may be bumped up a bit.

              Harold Wood, Church Road.

There a bit over grown and bind weed a problem here but obviously if you want one you cant be picky

                Hi Insy

That sounds really interesting. If you could pass me on details in a private message that would be great.
